  • Reaches injury settlement

    McGough (undisclosed) was waived by the Packers after the two sides reached an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    Analysis: McGough reverted to Green Bay's injured reserve last week after suffering an undisclosed injury, but he will now have an opportunity to find a new team. The former quarterback made the transition to wide receiver this offseason and he'll have to clear a physical prior to signing with a new team.

    Analysis: McGough was waived with an injury designation Friday as a result of an undisclosed injury, and he'll now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 season, barring an injury settlement.
